John Randy Keller, 64

John Randy Keller, 64, of Federal Lookout Road, Smithsburg, Md., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Born Nov. 8, 1946, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Mary L. (Williams) Keyser of Hagerstown and the late John W. Keller.

He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School Class of 1964.

He retired from Mack Trucks of Hagerstown. He was also employed by Potomac Guide Service and Rinehart's Orchards.

He was a member of Waynesboro Fish and Game Club, Eagles Inc. of Waynesboro, South Mountain Rod and Gun Club of Smithsburg and Masonic Lodge 196 Salem Lodge of Smithsburg.

He was a master gunsmith, professional fishing guide and avid hunter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda C. (Davis) Keller; daughter, Jill Keller of Smithsburg; granddaughter, Ally “Tate” Spaid of Smithsburg; sister, Carletta Kay Keller of Hagerstown; stepsister, Terri Keyser of Smithsburg; stepbrother, Rick Keyser of Clear Spring; and many special close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lynn Keller.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the Hospice of Washington County.

A gathering to celebrate Randy's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, from 1 to 3 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home Smithsburg, Md.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Waynesboro Hospital, c/o Summit Health Development Office, 785 5th Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
