More than 200 student musicians to perform at Band Festival

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — More than 200 student musicians from 10 area school districts will perform at the Franklin-Fulton County Band Festival on Saturday.

The annual two-county festival, sponsored by the Greencastle-Antrim School District Music Department, will be held at the GAHS Auditorium at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The hour-long event is open to the public. Tickets, available at the door, are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Each school's band director selected students in grades seven through 12 for the county band.

Students from the following school districts are participating in the concert:

Chambersburg, Corpus Christi, Fannett-Metal, Forbes Road, Greencastle-Antrim, James Buchanan, McConnellsburg, Mercersburg Academy, Southern Fulton, and Waynesboro.
