BHS Service Club helping children
The Boonsboro High School Service Club has launched a community project to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Jenn Webber, project leader, is coordinating an effort to raise $7,500 in order to grant one wish to a child with life-threatening health conditions.
From Jan. 19 to 26, the club will operate a penny drive through some of Boonsboro’s feeder schools (Pleasant Valley Elementary, Boonsboro Elementary and Boonsboro Middle School).
If you have children in these schools, please consider sending a penny collection to support the efforts of the BHS Service Club. Pennies can also be dropped off at the office at BHS. Clearly mark donations: Service Club Make a Wish Project.
