WILLIAMSPORT — Margaret “Mac” Ann McCauley, 70, of 16744 Buford Drive in Williamsport, Md., died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at her home.

Born Sept. 11, 1940, in Carbon Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late David L. and Mary L. Krieger Brode.

She graduated from King’s Daughters Hospital School of Nursing in Martinsburg, W.Va.

She was employed by the State of Maryland as a registered nurse with service at Western Maryland Center, Washington County Health Department and Potomac Center. Prior to her illness, she was a part-time supervisor at Homewood at Williamsport.

She was a Catholic.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Denton L. McCauley of Williamsport; and one son, Michael Joseph McCauley of Texas.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary B. Palmer; and one brother, Clyde R. Brode.

Friends and family will be received at the residence on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The deceased had requested no viewing or services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
