Mercersburg’s Yamane wins two events
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Mercersburg Academy’s boys and girls teams each went 0-3 in a triple-dual meet Wednesday at Ursinus College, falling to Hill, Peddie and George schools.
Yaku Yamane won the 200-meter dash (24.94 seconds) and the triple jump (37 feet, 1 inch) and Matt Cook won the 800 (2:18.10) for the Mercersburg boys.
Brittany Burg won the 200 (28.81) for the Mercersburg girls.
