Lisa Irene Richards, 49, of Hagerstown, died suddenly Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  

Born May 27, 1961, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene Wilmoth.
She was the wife of Steven B. Richards, her husband of 11 years.  Mrs. Richards was a 1979 graduate of Allegany High School. She was employed as a billing analyst with Behavioral Health of Frederick, Md.
She was a Gold Club member of QVC and a member of the Improved Order of Red Men Red Feather Council 59, Williamsport. She enjoyed going online and remodeling and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Surviving in addition to her husband are many nieces and nephews. She was known to all of them as their “Aunt Geek.” She is also survived by two stepdaughters; one grandson; sisters, Julia Tredway of Brunswick, Md., Rose Palmer of Williamsport, Tammy Powell of Thurmont, Md., and Kelley Teter and husband Dennis, of Williamsport; and brothers, Jake Wilmoth of Cresaptown, Md., and Les Wilmoth of Williamsport.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, at 3 p.m. at Manor Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Fairplay. The Rev. Joy Zepp, pastor of Manor Church of the Brethren, will officiate. A reception will follow at the Williamsport American Legion from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Tammy Powell, 10624 Powell Road, Thurmont MD 21788.
