Paige Christina Helman, 40, of 13409 Chads Terrace, Hagerstown, Md., died on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born Sept. 12, 1970, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Nancy L. Miner Taylor of Hagerstown and the late Michael B. Taylor.

She was previously employed by Potomac Family Medicine.

She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church (Grace Brethren Church). She sang in the adult choir and played in the church handbell choir.

She was past president of the candy stripers at Washington County Hospital, and a member of the Brethren Fellowship bowling league.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Roger L. Helman; two daughters, Michele Freeman and Bethany Helman, both of Hagerstown; one son, Brandon Helman of Hagerstown; one sister, Pamela K. Allen of Smithsburg, Md.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Cornerstone Community Church, First and Spruce streets, Hagerstown. The Rev. Harald Bjerga will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p. m., and one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Roger Helman, to help defray funeral expenses.
