Story time resumes

  • Jeff Ridgeway, who has been conducting story times for the library system for 25 years, will host the programs and share classic and new stories, puppets, draw a stories, flannelboard stories, music and other activities designed to encourage children to love reading and to get them acquainted with the wonderful books and other media to be found at their public library.

Washington County Free Library's downtown library will offer a story time for all children every Friday at 11 a.m. beginning Friday, Jan. 21. Jeff Ridgeway, who has been conducting story times for the library system for 25 years, will host the programs and share classic and new stories, puppets, draw a stories, flannelboard stories, music and other activities designed to encourage children to love reading and to get them acquainted with the wonderful books and other media to be found at their public library. The downtown library is at 59 W. Washington St. in the Susquehanna Bank building and across the street from the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown.
