The Antietam Exchange Club held its annual Christmas party Dec. 5 at Zion Evangelical Church on North Potomac Street in Hagerstown.
Seventy-eight needy children and 98 adults, who were all sponsored by the Healthy Families Program of the Washington County Health Department, attended the party.
Each child got to sit on Santa’s lap, talk about Christmas wishes and receive a gift.
Boys and girls received gifts of clothing and toys. No one left disappointed.
The food was donated by AC&T and its suppliers, Daycon Products, F&C Distributing, Frederick Produce Co. and Holsum Butter Crust Baking.
There were also baked goods provided by Exchange Club members.
The Otterbein Church Children’s Choir and the Kohl’s A Team helped with serving food and distributing gifts.
The event was made possible by sponsors AC&T, Columbia Bank, Netcom Solutions, Youngblood Studios, Kohl’s, Centra Bank, and the support of club members and their families.
