BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — Roberta Lucille “Bootsie” Hamill, 72, of Bunker Hill, died on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 at City Hospital.

Born July 17, 1938 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Chester Robert and Juanita Cramer Sigler.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by three sons, Lawrence J. Hamill III of Inwood, Robert A. Hamill of Stephens City, Va., and Dwayne D. Hamill of Inwood; one daughter, Linda A. Roseboro of Winchester, Va.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Chester Eugene Sigler of Apple Valley, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Hamill Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, with Pastor Betty Logan officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel.
