Md. MVA no longer to offer in-person vehicle registration renewals

January 06, 2011

Beginning this month, in-person, over-the-counter vehicle registrations no longer will be offered at Motor Vehicle Administration branch offices in Maryland, according to the agency.

Instead, the MVA is offering five options to renew vehicle registrations:

Anyone who has a flag or insurance violation on their vehicle’s record and who cannot complete their transactions through an alternative service will need to conduct their transaction over the counter at an MVA branch office, the agency said.
