WHS to hold financial aid night

Financial aid night will be Thursday at Williamsport High School beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Room 266.

All seniors planning to attend college and their parents are urged to attend. Also, any juniors and their parents who would like to receive information to plan during the next year are welcome to attend.

Lions Club has been busy

The Williamsport Lions Club had a busy December. Members collected 32 pairs of glasses and enough food and toys to distribute to 57 families in the community.

Its next regular meeting is Thursday, Jan. 13, at American Legion Post 202, beginning at 6:15 p.m.

At the meeting on Thursday, Jan. 27, the club is planning a special program to help everyone understand what the Lions Club does in Williamsport and about fundraising. All members are asked to bring a friend or family member to the meeting.
