MYERSVILLE, Md. — Doris L. Blickenstaff, 80, of Coxey Brown Road, Myersville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born Oct. 31, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Ira W. and Lillian B. (Blake) Whittington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nevin E. Blickenstaff Sr., March 4, 2004.
She attended Hagerstown High School.
She was employed by Printing Services of Frederick and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Mount Zion Mennonite Church of Boonsboro, Md.
She is survived by daughters, Becky Blickenstaff of Frederick, Darlene "Dee" Blickenstaff and husband, Eddie, of Middletown, Mary Kline and husband, Jim, of Myersville and Kathy Lawrence of Hagerstown; sons, Nevin E. Blickenstaff Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of Scoonerville, Pa., and Tony E. Blickenstaff and companion, Robin, of Boonsboro; sister, Donna Draper and husband, Sonny, of Garfield; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
