Jack Edison Dumire, 50, of Hagerstown, Md., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.


Born Aug. 20, 1960, in Oakland, Md., he was the son of the late John Carmen and Helen Louise (Paugh) DeMarco. He was the husband of the late Donna C. (Campbell) Dumire, who died Oct. 10, 2004.


Jack graduated from North Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown. He was a past employee of Xerxes Corp. in Williamsport, with more than 17 years of service. He also attended New Life Christian Ministries, Hagerstown.


Jack is survived by three sons, Dwayne L. Dumire of Smithfield, W.Va., Dustin A. Dumire of Hagerstown and Daniel W. Dumire of Greencastle, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Kenneth Harris will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.


The visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Dustin A. Dumire, 1113A Moller Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
