MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Police are looking for a man who robbed the branch office of BB&T bank at 1111 Winchester Ave. on Thursday afternoon.
The robbery, which was reported at 3:03 p.m., is the second at the bank since Dec. 22, according to Berkeley County Sheriff’s Deputy Lt. Gary Harmison.
The bank is at Winchester Avenue’s intersection with Apple Harvest Drive.
The suspect did not show a weapon before taking an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
He was last seen walking north on Winchester Avenue and it is unknown if he got into a vehicle, police said.
Police said the suspect, described as a black male with a light complexion, has a slim build and is about 6 feet tall.
