Ray Schnebly Hose of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Dec. 28, 2010, at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.

Born March 8, 1941, in Clear Spring, Md., he was the son of the late Rosie and Walter Hose.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Robin K. Hose of Hagerstown; sisters, Emma Jane Benner, Sally Ann Keesecker and Linda Sue Norr, all of Hagerstown and Margaret Dunn of Clear Spring; sons, Andy Hose of Hagerstown, Shane Saylor of Boonsboro and Randy Ashbrook Sr. of Hagerstown; along with many nieces, nephews and cherished grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Hose, Donald Hose, Fred Hose and Perry Hose; and a sister, Dorothy Repp.

Ray was a wonderful person who would do whatever he could to help anybody out. Some of his favorite things to do were working on his old Chevy and going to car shows. He loved to create things but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to assist with the cost of burial.
