11 — Saint James blasted Hancock 48-7 in football.
12 — Hagerstown golfer Ken Lampard won Coors Light Championship at Black Rock with 2-under-par 142.
14 — Reggie Bush forfeited 2005 Heisman Trophy award.
16 — North Hagerstown beat Loch Roven 60-13, and Williamsport beat Poolesville 18-6 in football.
17 — Clear Spring’s Mike Etzel rushed for 327 yards in a 52-12 win over Hancock.
18 — West Virginia beat Maryland 31-17 in football. ... The North Hagerstown boys and Boonsboro girls won Washington County soccer tournament titles.
21 — North Hagerstown and Smithsburg golf teams qualified for the Maryland state tournament by finishing in the top three at 1A/2A district tournament.
23 — North Hagerstown swept South Hagerstown 3-0 in volleyball . ... South beat Boonsboro 1-0 in boys soccer.
24 — Ben Daniels rushed for 255 yards to lead Smithsburg over South Hagerstown 34-12. ... Mike Etzel gained 302 yards as Clear Spring beat Clay-Battelle 47-24.
27 — Greencastle swept Williamsport 3-0 in volleyball.
28 — South Hagerstown beat Smithsburg 1-0 in girls soccer and 2-0 in boys soccer.
