QUINCY, Pa. — Grace P. Mose, 92, of Quincy, Pa., and formerly of Boonsboro, Md., passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2010 at Quincy Retirement Village, Quincy, Pa.

She was born Oct. 19, 1918 in Mount Carmel, Md., to the late Alexander Victor and Maude Elizabeth Rowe Poffenberger.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Francis "Toad" Mose, in 1976.

She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School, Boonsboro, Md.

She was employed as a nursing assistant with Clearview Nursing Home until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Hagerstown, Md. She was a very active member of the Energizers at St. Andrew's.

She was a member of AARP, and a longtime member of Manor Church Senior Citizens.

She was "No. 1 fan of the Hagerstown Suns."

Survivors include: daughter, Donna M. Schulte of Chambersburg, Pa., daughter, Gloria J. Kitchen of Hagerstown, Md.; grandson, Arthur Abbott of Chambersburg, Pa., grandson, Thomas Kitchen of Erie, Pa., grandson, Todd Kitchen of Palm Beach Garden, Fla.; granddaughter, Rebecca Leasure of Jennerstown, Pa., granddaughter, Amelia Babbitt of Wellsville, N.Y.; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth Poffenberger and three brothers, Henry Poffenberger, George Poffenberger and Otho Poffenberger.

A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Henning officiating.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
