KidShape program begins Jan. 25

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Summit Health and the Highmark Foundation have partnered to provide KidShape, a family-based pediatric weight management program for families with overweight children ages 6 to 14.

The program is designed to help families with overweight children to achieve weight management through proper nutrition, increased physical activity, and improved self-esteem. Each child must attend with a parent or guardian. No physician referral or health insurance is required.

The nine-week program will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 25 to March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 26 W. Commerce St., Chambersburg.
