Antietam Street Bail bondsman robbed at Hagerstown business

The Hagerstown Police Department was looking for a man who robbed an Antietam Street bail bondsman at gunpoint early Wednesday.

The robbery occurred at about 4 a.m., at Jim Frank’s Bail Bonds at 37 W. Antietam St. A man pointed  a handgun at an employee inside the bail bonds business, according to a Hagerstown Police Department press release.

Police said the employee gave his wallet to the robber, who fled the scene.

The robber was described as a black man in his mid-20s, police said. He was wearing a dark coat, a black winter hat and a plaid scarf.
