Technical High School named one of 10 "Model Schools"

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Washington County Technical High School has been named one of 10 "Model Schools" in the nation by Project Lead the Way, the nation's leading provider of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education, according to a press release.

Tech High was among the schools honored for its innovative approach to engaging students in learning.

The 2009-10 Model Schools offer examples of how schools of all sizes and in all parts of the country are preparing middle school and high school students for college and career success, the release said.
