Benefit concert features former Frederick musician

FREDERICK, Md. — Frederick native Leif Nicolas Huber will perform with his band as Leify Green at 7 p.m. at Cultural Arts Center, 15 W. Patrick St., downtown Frederick, Md.

Their eclectic music features African- and Latin-influenced percussion, a funk-rock groove, and Celtic- and Appalachian-style guitars and mandolin.

Admission is $5 in advance, $10 at the door. There will be a cash bar.

Profits will fund the Frederick Arts Council’s Thelma Gross Music Scholarship Fund.
