Charles Edward Weidner Jr., 74, formerly of Boonsboro, Md., passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at the Golden LivingCenter in Hagerstown.

Born Oct. 24, 1936, in Downsville, Md., he was the son of the late Charles E. and Bertha May (Davis) Weidner.

Mr. Weidner is survived by his son, Charles I. Weidner, and his wife, Pam, of Keedysville, Md.; his daughter, Carol E. Houser, and her companion, John Eader Jr., of Boonsboro; and one stepson, Dwayne Gossard. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 3346 Gapland Road, Rohrersville, Md.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 3346 Gapland Road, Rohrersville MD 21779.
