FREDERICK, Md. — APRIL 6, 1930-DEC. 11, 2010
Mr. David Luther Buhrman, 80, of Frederick, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born in Utica on April 6, 1930, he was a son of the late Sheriff R. Paul and Edna Marie Albaugh Buhrman.
Mr. Buhrman proudly served his country during the Korean conflict in the United States Air Force.
He always had a great love for flying and enjoyed flying small planes. He was an avid hunter and traveled out West to hunt.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Utica.
He was retired after 30 years as a construction inspector for the City of Frederick.
Surviving is one brother, Harold E. "Fuzzy" Buhrman of Frederick; two nieces, Judith C. French-Scott of Port Townsend, Wash., and Anne F. Dixon of Griffin, Ga.; two great-nieces, Virginia Cummings and Ashley French-Scott; and four great-great-nieces. He will also be remembered by a special friend, Libby Derr of Frederick.
