WILLIAMSPORT — JULY 15, 1937-DEC. 10, 2010

David Eugene Teter, 73, of 16612 Johnson Drive, Williamsport, Md., died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at his home in Williamsport.

Born July 15, 1937, in York, Pa., he was the son of the late Rev. Lester Teter and Ethel Miller Teter.

He was employed in sales and marketing at Master Supply Co. in Hagerstown.

He was an active member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, where he was known for his dedication to the congregation and the community.

He was a member of the Izaak Walton League and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Teter; five daughters, Diane Horst and her husband, Jake, Debbie Warner and her husband, David, Stephanie Henneberger and her husband, David, Lynnette Saunders and her husband, Frank, and Brenda McDonald; one son, Dennis Teter and his wife, Kelley; two sisters, Leona Wingerd and Phyllis Bollinger; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Jerry Lowans will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
