Poetry corner: "No Name"

December 13, 2010|By Krista Kirlew | Pulse correspondent

He won't even know his father cause he left and gone away.

He's a boy with no name.

A boy with no name.

He will never know how to hunt cause his father left and gone away.

He's a boy with no game.

A boy with no game.

He's not strong and proud because his father walked away.

He's a boy that has shame.

A boy with shame.

The boy grows

And he grows

The man enters the unforgiving world without a name.

But he finds his name.

He is a man with a name.

The man enters the world of drought without game.

He finds an arrow.

The man has game.

He is a man with game.

He enters the shallow, cold, icy, bitter world and develops his strength.

But the man has strength. He is a man with strength.

He walks with his head held high. He has no shame.

He is now a man that walks without shame. The man is lonely He finds his mate Lightning, sparks, flash!

Welcome my son

The boy can walk now.

The father is proud.

He packs his things up, it is time to go now.

He walks away from the little boy with no name.

He will never know his father 'cause he left and gone away.

Just left and walked away.

He is just a little boy.

A boy with no name.
