Chambersburg 73, James Buchanan 40

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Skylar Roman scored 10 of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter as Chambersburg jumped out to a 25-13 lead and never looked back against James Buchanan in the championship game of the Franklin County Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday night.

Mitch Stahl had 14 points for the Trojans (2-0).

Shane O’Neal had nine points for the Rockets (1-1).

Saints drop three matches

MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Saint James lost three matches on Saturday at the Mercersburg Academy Classic Duals. Georgetown Prep easily handled the Saints 68-12 before Saint James fell in close matches to St. Albans 40-38 and Martinsburg, 40-39.

Hal Smith (189) and Chris Pritchard (215 and 285) earned two pinfall victories, while Ross Reid (215) got a pin and a decision for the Saints. Alec Wingerd (112), Kyle Titus-Glover (125), Luke Hart (135), Sungmo Ku (140), Alex Demarco (160) and Jamie Peterson (171) each earned a pinfall victory, while Yunil Seo (130) earned a decision.

Flanagan Invitational

MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Mercersburg Academy defeated Potomac School 8-1 to win one of its three matches on Saturday.

Losses were 5-4 to Agnes Irwin and 7-2 to St. Andrews.
