Greencastle man charged with assault and fleeing and eluding police

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — A Greencastle man was charged with assault and fleeing and eluding police following a Wednesday afternoon incident, Greencastle police said.

At 5:12 p.m. police were called to 500 N. Antrim Way for a report of an assault, police said. While on the way to that address, police said they were told the assailant had left in a black GMC truck.

When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver failed to stop and was followed to a residence on Nicole Drive.

Phillip Kramer, 55, whom police said lives at the Nicole Drive residence, was arrested and taken to Franklin County Jail where he was released after posting $2,000 bond, police said.

The victim, Craig Myers, whose age and address were not given, suffered minor injuries, police said.

• Theft at Valley Mall.

Theft in the 13700 block of Emily Street.
