BOONSBORO — Ashley Smothers had nine points and Haley Payne added eight points and eight rebounds as Boonsboro won its season opener against Manchester Valley.
Amber Smith had eight points, five rebounds and four assists and Kara Nettleton added eight points and three steals for the Warriors (1-0).
