Franklin County Department of Emergency Services report incidents
The Franklin County Department of Emergency Services handled the following calls, according to spokesman Dave Donohue:
Monday
o A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3421 Black Gap Road at 8:22 a.m. One minor injury occurred.
o Fannett-Metal Fire Co. responded to an odor of something burning in the 18000 block of Path Valley Road at 9:41 a.m. Firefighters determined the problem was a malfunctioning washing machine.
o Officials responded to 45 E. Main St. in Waynesboro, Pa., for an automatic fire alarm at the library. It was determined to be caused by a malfunctioning smoke detector.
Sunday
o An outside fire was reported at 5:21 p.m. in the 11000 block of Shimpstown Road.
o A vehicle accident with injuries occurred at 5:59 p.m. at 7321 Anthony Highway.
o A vehicle accident with injuries occurred at 10:18 p.m. at 2300 Loop Road in Guilford Township.
