TOPS 0308

At the Sept. 17 meeting of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 0308, the members celebrated Virginia Rodgers' anniversary as a 29-year TOPS member.

Rodgers is the essence of what a KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) member is supposed to be.

She has been an inspiration to the club from the time she joined in 1981.

She received a fall, silk flower arrangement from the chapter. She also received congratulatory balloons and cards from each member. Light refreshments were served during the meeting.

Donna and Marie kept eat sheets for the week and were allowed to choose a gift.

Best losers for TOPS was Eva and June for KOPS.

The chapter lost a total of 5.5 pounds for the week.

The group meets Fridays at Christ Lutheran Church, 216 N. Cleveland Ave. in Hagerstown. Weigh-in is from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. and the meeting is from 6 to 7 p.m.
