CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - In March, the New Franklin Ruritan Club donated a house to Habitat For Humanity of Franklin County.

Plans were made by Habitat's volunteer building committee for a major rehabilitation of the property, now nearing completion.

As a demonstration of its continued support of Habitat and its mission, the New club recently contributed $10,000 toward the rehab project.

Mark D. Story, Habitat's executive director said, "In these economic times, it is refreshing to see community-minded organizations still contributing charitably. This gift will allow Habitat to continue to provide homeownership solutions for low-income families in Franklin County. Habitat is proud to be partnered with the excellent people of the New Franklin Ruritan."
