Hagerstown Police Department responds to incidents



The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett.

Sept. 17

o A robbery was reported on Berner Avenue. The victim and the suspect were intoxicated.

o A missing person was reported in the 300 block of Burhans Boulevard.

o A theft was reported at the Antietam Academy construction site on South Potomac Street.

o A theft of cigars was reported in the 600 block of Dual Highway.

o An assault was reported in the 100 block of East Avenue.

o A theft of a Maryland license plate with a registration of 954865M was reported in the 100 block of South Prospect Street.

o A theft was reported in the 600 block of Dual Highway.

o A vehicle accident occurred in the 300 block of Summit Avenue.

o A vehicle accident occurred in the 18000 block of Garland Groh Boulevard.

o A trespassing incident was reported in the 300 block of Mitchell Avenue. An arrest was made.

o A theft arrest was made in the 1200 block of Lindsay Lane. There was a juvenile suspect.

o A stabbing occurred at Susan Alley and Jonathan Street.

o A bullet was found in the 400 block of Mechanic Street.

o A disorderly conduct and resisting arrest was made in the 100 block of Ross Street.

o A domestic violence assault was reported in the first block of East Baltimore Street.

o A missing juvenile was reported in the 200 block of Prospect Avenue.

Sept. 16

o A vehicle with expired tags was towed from the AC&T on Dual Highway.

o A theft was reported at Martin's at 1729 Dual Highway.

o A theft was reported at CVS at 1503 Potomac Avenue.

o A theft of a food item was reported at Martin's at 1729 Dual Highway.

o Controlled dangerous substance violations were observed during a traffic stop involving a scooter in the 200 block of W. Franklin Street. Charges were pending.

The following incidents were reported by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:

Friday

o At 9:34 a.m., a commercial fire alarm was reported in the 800 block of Duncan Avenue.

o At 12:19 p.m., an auto fire was reported on Interstate 81 South at the 28-mile marker.

o At 12:38 p.m., a commercial fire alarm was reported at 1480 Nitterhouse Drive.

o At 1:39 p.m., a pole fire was reported at the intersection of Warm Spring Road and Lincoln Way West.

Thursday

o At 3:12 p.m., a fuel spill was reported in the 4100 block of Philadelphia Avenue in Greene Township.

o At 3:56 p.m., a brush fire was reported in the 12700 block of Stonewall Road in Southampton Township.

o At 4:50 p.m., a motorcycle accident was reported at the intersection of North Franklin Street and Grandview Avenue in Chambersburg.

o At 5:38 p.m., an electrical odor was reported in a building at 1600 Lincoln Way East in Guilford Township.

o At 7:33 p.m., a brush fire was reported in the 4200 block of Fording Creek Road in Montgomery Township.

o At 7:50 p.m., a stove fire was reported out in a residence at 142 Kennedy St. in Guilford Township.

o At 9:49 p.m., a fuel spill was reported on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Fannett Township.

o At 10:34 p.m., an electrical fire was reported in the 10000 block of South Mountain Road in Quincy Township.
