Heart walk

The American Heart Association Heart Walk will be Sunday, Sept. 26, at Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School, 500 Leitersburg St., Greencastle, Pa. Registration is at 12:45 p.m., walk at 1:30 p.m. Four-mile or 1.3 mile event, rain or shine. Proceeds benefit American Heart Association. Call Jim Zimmerman at 717-267-5961.

'Saturday at the Summit'

Saturday, Sept. 25, 7 to 9 p.m. Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., Hagerstown. Music, and coffee or tea. Barbecue

Saturday, Sept. 25, 9:30 a.m. until sold out. Funkstown Volunteer Fire Co., Funkstown. Barbecue chicken, pit beef, Italian sausage and ham sandwiches. Meals cost $7 and include half-chicken, ham, or pit-beef sandwich, macaroni salad and baked beans. Italian sausage sandwich meal costs $6.
