Arts and crafts festival

Fall Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival features wine tastings, bluegrass music, children's activities and works by about 200 juried artists and crafters. Fly-in and big band dance

The Hagerstown Aviation Museum will host the Hagerstown Fly-in and a 1940s Big Band Dance. The fly-in also features historic aircraft displays and free plane rides for children ages 8 to 17 courtesy of the Experimental Aircraft Association Young Eagles program, weather permitting. Fly-in is Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hagerstown Aircraft Services, 14235 Oak Springs Road, north of Hagerstown. Admission is free. Steam engine and craft show

Smithsburg Steam Engine and Craft Show features flea markets, arts and crafts, a shingle mill, corn husking, antique tractors, traction engines, home cooking, straw baling and a blacksmith. Suns' Chili cook-off

Hockey charity game

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra will present its annual MSO Pops concert titled "Broadway Rocks." Guest artists will be Broadway singers Christiane Noll, Capathia Jenkins and Rob Evan.
