Rabies clinic planned Saturday at Doub's Woods

September 21, 2010

In recognition of World Rabies Day on Sept. 28, the Humane Society of Washington County will hold a rabies vaccination clinic at Doub's Woods Park Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held simultaneously with Bark in the Park.

The park is across from South End Shopping Center.

Vaccinations cost $7 per pet. Dogs must be leashed when brought to the clinic for vaccinations. Cats and ferrets must be in carriers or otherwise contained.

All dogs and cats that are 12 months or older and have received a previous rabies vaccine will be eligible to receive a three-year vaccine at no additional cost. Proof of previous rabies vaccine will be required.
