GAPLAND -Lauretta (Itnyre) Butts, 96, of Gapland, Md., passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.
Born June 3, 1914, in Funkstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late George M. and Elizabeth A. (Turpin) Itnyre.
Her husband, Paul S. Butts, preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1985.
Mrs. Butts was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren, and last was employed by Fahrney-Keedy Home and Village in Boonsboro.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia and her husband, George Burtner, of Clear Spring, Md., and Dorothy and her husband, Nelson, of Hagerstown; her five grandchildren, Daniel Burtner and his wife, Cammie, and Michael Burtner and his wife, Kim, of Clear Spring; Henry Burtner and his wife, Trina, Linda and her husband, Larry Curry, and Kyle Alexander and his wife, Karen, all of Hagerstown; 10 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
