Listening tour stops in Martinsburg



MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The West Virginia Division of Culture and History in collaboration with the West Virginia Commission on the Arts will be conducting a listening tour at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at The Art Centre, 300 W. King St., Martinsburg. The arts section of the Division will host a free meeting to listen to the needs and comments of any interested community members.

Literary festival set for October



SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The Alpha Gamma Kappa chapter of Sigma Tau Delta invites participants to its second Literary Festival and Conference, Saturday, Oct. 16.

Events include workshops on creative, professional and academic writing; conference panels featuring student papers on all subjects related to English studies; poetry/fiction readings; and food and other events.
