September 16, 2010

CLEAR SPRING -- Clear Spring is accepting applications for its annual town council election.

All applications for the two council seats up for election this year are due to the town by Oct. 4, Town Clerk Juanita Grimm said.

Vice Mayor Steve Blickenstaff and Councilwoman Pamela M. Sasser hold the seats up for election Nov. 1, according to Mayor Paul D. Hose Jr.

Blickenstaff and Sasser would not say whether they plan to run for re-election.

People who want to run for either seat may apply at town hall during regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Oct. 4, and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 4, Grimm said.
