Backyard digital photography

Hands-on workshop capturing flora and fauna found in a typical home landscape. 'Art of Photography'

Six sessions for new and experienced photographers. Learn general rules for taking a good photo, mat cutting, framing, and using Adobe Photoshop. 3 to 5:30 p.m. Taught by Penny Knobel-Besa of Sanctuary Studios near Hancock. Youth theater workshops

Offers children ages 8 to 18 workshops that teach elements of a full theater production. Students will conclude the workshops by performing a version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream, written for children. Classes will meet for six weeks from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 21 through Oct. 28; from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, Sept. 25, and Oct. 9 and 23; and a rehearsal on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
