Man hurt in I-70 crash in fair, but stable condition

HANCOCK -- A man injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday on Interstate 70 was in fair, but stable condition Saturday afternoon at Washington County Hospital, according to a nursing supervisor there.

Paul Douglas Huff, 57, was flown to the hospital after the crash, which happened about 1:55 a.m. near mile marker 1 between Hancock and the Maryland/Pennsylvania state line, Maryland State Police said. Huff was trapped in his vehicle after the crash, troopers said.

Huff's address and hometown were not available Saturday afternoon, troopers said.
