CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- Chelsea Foltz paced Broadfording with 17 service points, including seven aces, and 11 digs as the Lions defeated Shalom 25-17, 25-16, 11-25, 26-24 in the MDCC.

Kelli Crider had 10 service points and 16 assists, Sarah Couch added eight digs and five kills and Maria Pifer tallied six kills for the Lions (5-1, 4-1).

Holly Andreine led the Flames with 10 kills, 26 digs, eight aces and two blocks, while Stacey Thrush added seven kills, 30 digs and six aces, Kelsey Ebersole had 24 assists and 10 service points and Ashlyn Blank had 31 digs.

Fannett-Metal 3, S. Fulton 0

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. --Kelsey Truax had eight digs and five kills, while Masey Brown added four service points and three kills for Southern Fulton, which lost 25-17, 25-13, 25-13 to Fannett-Metal.

Ashley Sigel had four service points, Whitney Ritz recorded five blocks and Abby Hockens added nine assists for the Indians (0-2).

GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- Erin Garns had 19 assists and six digs for Greencastle (2-0), while Nakita Gearhart added six kills and Samantha Rudy had five kills in the Blue Devils' 25-22, 25-22, 25-12 sweep of Gettysburg (0-1).

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. -- Emily Watkins had 16 kills and seven aces and Rikki Green added 15 kills to lead McConnellsburg to a 25-27, 25-9, 25-17, 24-26, 15-10 season-opening victory at home.

Valerie Green had 34 assists and six digs for the Spartans (1-0), while Jessica Nero added 14 digs.
