Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Rachel Black will share the message, Making a Difference for Jesus, at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Mary Diehl will be worship leader. There will be a commissioning service for teachers. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m.

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Pastor Len Smith will speak on Love Unlimited at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. Charles Wasson will be worship leader. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday programs at 6:45 p.m.

Brownsville Church of the Brethren, the Gudgeon Family will lead the service Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. worship service at Pleasant Valley Park. If it rains, the service will be at the church. A sharing service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. Duane and Carol Strickler will discuss their trip to Guatemala.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp will meditate on Jesus and the Lost at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. The youth fellowship will hold a soup and sandwich lunch at noon.

Christ Community Church, 8916 Mapleville Road, Pastor Rich Carr will share the message Growing Together, part III, Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school at 11 a.m.

Christ Lutheran Church, Kim Jones will present a monologue skit titled Rocks at the 10:15 a.m. combined communion service Sunday. A potluck meal will follow the service. Rodeo Rally Day will be celebrated at 9 a.m. and will include prizes, games, face painting, crafts for children. The children will sing.

Christ Reformed Church, UCC, 304 E. German St., Shepherdstown, W.Va., across from the train station, Ronald Grubb will lead the 11 a.m. communion service on Lost and Found - One of God's Busiest Departments.

Christ Reformed UCC, Sharpsburg, Pastor Delancy Catlett will lead the congregation at 9 a.m. on Growing in God's Love.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman will preach Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The topic will be Lost and Found. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Christian Science Society, the topic Sunday at 10:30 a.m. will be Substance. Sunday school for young people up to age 20 meets at 10:30 a.m. during worship. Meetings are on the first and third Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. The Reading Room at 235 N. Potomac St. is open one hour before and after services.

Church of Christ at Hagerstown, Gerald Fess will give the message The Church Body at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Bible classes begin at 9 a.m. Wednedsay night prayer meeting and Bible study begins at 7 p.m. For transportation, call 301-733-5244.

Church of Christ in the Great Valley, 7306 Wheeler Road, Boonsboro, Paul Toothman will speak Sunday at 10 a.m. on I Call You Friends.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Timothy Leighton will lead the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday. The topic will be the Preparation for Constructing the Tabernacle. The service will take place outdoors, weather permitting, and will include the dedication of the new pavilion. Adult Bible study is at 9:30 a.m.

Concordia Lutheran Church, the Rev. Emil Gretarsson will lead the 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. noncommunion services Sunday. The topic will be I Guess I'll Have to Do it Myself! Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages. Bob Shives will lead the adult Bible class.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Renee L. Mackey will speak at the 10 a.m. service Sunday at Pen Mar Park in the overlook pavilion. The topic is Caring for God's Creation. A potluck lunch will follow the service.

A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries, 15221 Wyndham Ave. at Tracey's Corner in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., Pastor Steve Burdette's sermon will be Having a Form of Godliness at the Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. Call 717-794-0141.

Cutting Edge Ministries, Pastor Brett DeVon McKoy will speak on The Warfare Weapons at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. Discipleship class is at 9:30 a.m. and youth Sunday school meets during the service. Pastor Harvey Swanger will discuss "Holy Spirit" at the 7 p.m. service Sunday.

Downsville Christian Church, the Rev. Craig Jones will lead the 10 a.m. service Sunday on The Three Trees. Mary Jones will be worship leader.

Downsville Church of the Brethren, Sunday at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Wilkie Nunn will speak on Compass for Christians. Joel Gaylor will be worship leader. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Larry Aikens will speak Sunday at 11 a.m. on A Sorrowful Spirit. Pastor Servando Gonzalez will preach the message Consagracion in the Spanish Depeartment at 11 a.m. Gonzalez will also preach at the 6 p.m. evening service on El testimonia del Cristano. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. Bible Study, prayer meeting, teen group and Patch Clubs meet Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Pastor Randy Reid will lead the 9:30 a.m. service. The sermon topic will be Things to Learn from Jesus: Be Ready. Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.
