Kathryn Louise "Kitty" Chrisman, 93, of 20014 Rosebank Way, Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the Williamsport Retirement Village, Williamsport.

Born Tuesday, July 17, 1917, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late William H. Sayles Sr. and the late Margaret Ruth Tetlow Sayles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Paul Chrisman, in 1992.

She was a 1935 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was employed at Washington County Hospital, retiring after 30 years as a supervisor in medical records. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Trinity Lutheran Church Widow's Club. She was a volunteer with American Red Cross Bloodmobile and HCC ARC. Kitty was an avid bingo player and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, K. Arlene Drawbaugh and husband David of Williamsport, Md.; brother, William H. Sayles Jr. of Williamsport, Md.; four grandchildren, Gina Anne Baker and husband Matt of Williamsport, Md., Tina Lynne Leimbach and husband Rick of Westminster, Md., David John "DJ" Drawbaugh and wife Julie of Boonsboro, Md., and Jamie M. Drawbaugh and wife Tammy of Hagerstown, Md.; nine great-grandchildren, Julianne, Samantha, Ryan, Ben, Matthew, David, Donnie, Alexis and Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret A. Dellinger; and a brother, Earl J. Sayles.

Services will be Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, Md., with the Rev. W. Gregory Martin officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12.

Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, Md.
