PACEM and the Interfaith Coalition of Washington County, International Day of Prayer for Peace at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21. Nine religious communities will present a song, brief statement on peace and a prayer for peace from their tradition.

Unity of Hagerstown, Civil Air Patrol Building, behind Nick's Airport Inn, Hagerstown. A documentary, "Everest - A Climb for Peace," will be shown at 7 p.m. today. The movie includes footage of the tallest mountain in the world, with an interfaith crew of climbers.
