Patriot Day celebration



Saturday features a full day of events, including a 5K race, a 1.5-mile walk, a memorial service, motorcycle convoy ride to the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel in Shanksville, Pa., golf scramble, barbecue dinner, music and fireworks. Parade



First Hose Co. of Boonsboro holds parade in memory of first responders who lost their lives during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The men and women in the military who have lost their lives and those who are presently serving will also be honored. 7 p.m. Saturday. Parade will be held along Boonsboro's Main Street.
