LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Lexington used seven unanswered runs to erase an early 2-0 Hagerstown lead on Tuesday to lead the Legends to a 10-7 victory.
The Suns (63-71) took a two-run lead in the first on a solo home run by J.P. Ramirez and back-to-back doubles by Destin Hood and Brett Newsome off Lexington starter Zach Grimmett.
But the Legends got to Suns starter Graham Hicks (1-6) for five runs in four innings and another five off reliever Kyle Morrison in the next 2 1/3 to knock Hagerstown out of the game.
Down 7-2, the Suns attempted a comeback with three runs in the seventh with the help of a two-run homer by Rick Hague to score Eury Perez, who stole his 59th and 60th base after singling. A throwing error on his first steal allowed Adrian Nieto to score after his leadoff single.
