HCC to offer workshops on home and gardening

Hagerstown Community College's Continuing Education and Community Services Division is offering home and garden workshops to help improve participants' landscape design and gardening abilities, as well as help them explore interior design and home architecture.

Gardening workshops offered this fall include "Pruning Landscape Plants Seminar with Sandy Scott," which will be offered Saturday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the Career Programs Building and "Flower Gardening in October: Annuals and Perennials," which will be offered Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at HCC's Valley Mall Center.

Home workshops offered this fall include "History of Your House," which will be offered on Saturdays, from Sept. 25 to Oct. 16, and "Designing With Style," which will be offered on Tuesdays, from Oct. 5 to 26. "Designing With Style" is offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Career Programs Building and "History of Your House" is offered from 9 a.m. to noon at HCC's Valley Mall Center.
