FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. -- A man was flown by helicopter to York (Pa.) Hospital Tuesday morning after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a pickup truck in Guilford Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The man, who was not identified by police, was riding a 1984 Honda motorcycle east on Stump Lane, about a half-mile east of Falling Spring Road, when he lost control on a curve shortly before 8 a.m., police said. The motorcycle collided with a westbound 2007 Dodge pickup, police said.
The motorcyclist, described as approximately 44 years old, was flown from the scene to the hospital, a Franklin County 911 dispatcher said. The man driving the pickup, who also was not identified, was not injured, police said.
