Hagerstown Police Department reports

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett.


o A domestic assault occurred in the 100 block of East Baltimore Street.

o A drunk driving arrest was made in the first block of West Church Street.

o A drunk driving arrest was made in the 100 block of McPherson Street.

o A door was reported damaged with a baseball bat in the 500 block of Salem Avenue.


o A windshield on a vehicle was broken out overnight.

o A fraudulent check was used at Byers Stop N Go, 152 N. Burhans Blvd.

o A business sign and a mailbox were reported damaged in the 300 block of Dual Highway overnight.


o A domestic violence referral was made in the 200 block of Calvert Terrace.

o A white White River Huffy bicycle was found on Walnut Street.

o A theft occurred at the CVS at 34 N. Cannon Ave.

o A person was injured in a hit-and-run accident in the first block of North Burhans Boulevard. The suspect vehicle was described as black with pink writing on the rear window. The driver was female.

o A rear Maryland tag with a registration of 54462M5 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Maryland Avenue.

o A yellow Rhino bicycle was reported stolen at North Mulberry Street and Fairground Ave.

o A sexual assault was reported in the first block of South Burhans Boulevard.

o Malicious destruction of property was reported in the 60 block of West Antietam Street.

o A bicycle was found at North Canon Avenue and Jefferson Street.

o A missing juvenile was reported in the 40 block of East North Avenue.
